TheLouk is an adult service, and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page sets out what we prohibit, how to report it, and what we do when we receive a report.
Last updated 17 August 2026
TheLouk is for people aged 18 and over. Child sexual abuse and exploitation, in any form, is prohibited without exception. This is not a rule we weigh against other considerations: an account found to be involved is removed permanently, and the matter is referred to the authorities.
In the app, open the profile or press and hold the message you want to report, choose Report, and select a reason. Where you believe someone is a minor, choose "This person appears to be under 18". You do not need to be matched with someone to report them.
You can also write to info@thelouk.com at any time, including if you do not have an account.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reporting to us is not a substitute for contacting the police.
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests relating to child endangerment. Our standards are reviewed as our obligations and our product change, and the date at the top of this page reflects the last review.
Questions about these standards, our handling of child sexual abuse material, or our compliance, from users, researchers, regulators or platforms, should go to info@thelouk.com, which reaches the person responsible for child safety at Poky Group.
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it, including records relating to abuse reports.
